Walk On Wall
by Andy Alesik

As mentioned in the link "unpublished scenes" uncovers some of the scenes that hasn´t been used during the completion of TR´s title design.
Now let me explain, what "unused" is about. These unplushed or unused scenes are not complete trash but they show how difficult it can be to do a passably good storytelling. So nice stills won´t do the job. What you need is an exact copy of your ideas first someway brought to a sheet of paper (storyboard) and then realized on the computer. So these images show the exact inverted way. It´s a mood question whether these images will offer new ideas to bring on paper, but it seems they will stand as a kind of memorial for those who´ve got great skills without usage.

So please don´t make any questions and don't rub it in!

Besides unused scenes with the cause of no concept all of the unpublished scenes have something in common - the enironment. In fact the fight of the father against the ninjas was orginally planed to be inside of the house. As a result of a lot of problems with natural lighting the fighting area had been mislaid outside.

When you realize your ideas with concepts (storyboards, animatics, etc.) be always realistic from the first moment of your realisation. After the first step it´s realy hard to reverse any thoughts because of technical problems.

Ninja jumps into a curtain and gets killed by katana the same time.

A lot of lighting and a lot of time was wasted on this scene. The reason why the camera should be over shoulder was never mentioned and even never reasonable.
